Course Description
Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED is a
classroom course that is designed to meet OSHA requirements. The course teaches
basic first Aid, CPR, and AED skills:
1. Helping someone with a possible broken bone or sprain
2. Giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult
3. Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Intended Audience:
Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community as
well as those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills. Some rescuers
are required to take this course as part of their employer's efforts to comply
with OSHA regulations, e.g., corporate employees, security guards, airline
personnel, lifeguards and other individuals who want or need first aid training
